Dorothea“A co-worker highly recommended Dr. Neufeld to me. When I arrived for my first appointment, I was afraid. I had never broken any bones, and the thought of surgery was terrifying to me. Your kindness and compassion immediately put me at ease. Thank you for taking the extra time to introduce yourself and tell me of your qualifications before we discussed the surgical procedure, it might seem like a small thing, but it reduced my stress considerably…
“The first procedure where you fixed the break and installed a pin and screws went superbly. My recovery time was short and I was back working remotely the week after the procedure with very little pain.
“Your physical therapy department was outstanding. They had me walking without stiffness just a few weeks after the follow-up appointment for surgery. The second procedure completed March 16, 2009 to remove the pins and screws also went extraordinarily well. I was done with pain meds 2 days after surgery and I was able to walk on the foot without pain within that same week.
“I would also like to extend my thanks to your administrative staff for their work. All paperwork, follow-up appointments, questions, and billings to my insurance company were handled seamlessly. The staff was always kind, courteous, and efficient in all my dealings with them.
“I will always be grateful for your care and treatment. While I hope that I won’t have a return trip to your office anytime soon, I have been telling everyone I know about your practice and the fantastic results you have achieved for me.”
Evelyn L. Haught“Dr. Neufeld removed a bunion, hammertoe bone spur 4/2011. He implanted a titanium plate in large toe. Services included x-rays, 3 post-operative shoes, including a pneumonic boot, for each healing stage. I sought out Dr. Steven Neufeld after reading that he has invented various plates to reduce recovery time & improve bunion surgery outcomes. For 30 years I suffered from a painful bunion that was operated on 27 years ago by an incompetent podiatrist. I was lucky this time to have Dr. Neufeld who explained his surgical approach, amt. of pain I would experience, projected outcomes. He prescribed adequate painkillers. His & his staff's post-operative follow-up were professional & relevant to my needs at each visit. Besides being medically competent, I found Dr. Neufeld & his staff to be compassionate & personable. After 3 months, I consider myself fully recovered from the surgery, pain free, & leading an active life.”
Dottie“I am a past patient of Dr. Neufeld. I wanted to say thanks, because I achieved one of my goals recently and I could not have done it without my replacement ankle. My ankle was replaced in 2011, and I have continued to stay active. I now walk regularly on a treadmill and ride my exercise bike, as well as other activities. I completed a 5k race/walk over this past weekend and that was one of my dreams or goals to achieve in my lifetime. My ankle is holding up well, and I did not have any pain while walking the 5k, though my legs are a bit sore and stiff today as I am walking at work. So I wanted to say thanks for the replacement ankle and the physical therapy afterwards that helped me to return to an active life. I am so happy and thrilled that I am not in a wheelchair due to my old ankle not working properly and I am thrilled to have completed a 5K!!”
