Danielle has been practicing as a certified athletic trainer since 2015 when she graduated from the University of South Carolina with Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training. She then received a Graduate Assistantship at Salisbury University and earned her Masters of Science in Applied Health Physiology while working with their collegiate athletics program.
In 2017, she returned to Northern Virginia and took a position at George Mason University providing sports medicine coverage to multiple athletic teams before transitioning to the clinical setting at The Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Center in 2021. She began as a clinical assistant and worked closely with the doctors and providers to assist with patient triage, pre- and post-operative care, casting, DME fitting, and also became a licensed radiology technician.
Danielle now holds the position of Orthotics and DME Specialist at OFAC. Throughout her career as an athletic trainer, she has been innovative in creating specialized products and solutions for her patients. She enjoys working hands on with patients and being creative in her approach to the management of orthopedic and other general medical conditions. Danielle strives to improve patient outcomes through custom orthotic and brace fabrication and fitting, while educating patients on these individualized methods of care.
