The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics is redefining the way musculoskeletal care is delivered across the region with locations throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
Noely Macias, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant (PA) licensed to treat patients in both Virginia and Maryland.
Originally from Fitchburg, Massachusetts, she attended Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU) from 2018 to 2022, majoring in Exercise Science on an athletic scholarship for gymnastics. During her time at SCSU, she accumulated approximately 2,000 hours of experience working as a physical therapy aide at Amity Physical Therapy in Hamden, CT, and as a medical scribe at St. Mary's Emergency Department in Waterbury, CT. Additionally, in 2021, Noely traveled to Mombasa, Kenya, to shadow providers at Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital and volunteered at local health clinics.
Shortly after graduating, she pursued her Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at The George Washington University. Noely had the opportunity to complete her orthopedics rotation at The Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Center, where she witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of quality care on patients' lives by the compassionate and skilled professionals there, fueling her passion and solidifying her desire to join the team shortly after graduation.
Outside of work, Noely enjoys spending quality time with her friends while exploring the vibrant and historic city of Washington, DC—including visiting museums, enjoying the diverse culinary scene, and going on long runs at the National Mall.
