Last week, Dr. Steven Neufeld was invited to teach a course on minimally invasive bunion surgery to other orthopedic physicians at the annual AOFAS (American Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Society) meeting in Chicago.
Each year, the American Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Society holds a weekend-long annual meeting featuring presentations, sessions, courses, and more! This year, from September 12-15, more than 1,200 foot and ankle orthopaedic surgeons, orthopaedic residents, and advanced health practitioners came together in Chicago for AOFAS Annual Meeting 2019 and the AOFAS 50th Anniversary Celebration.
Dr. Neufeld was invited to teach the cadaver course at this year’s AOFAS meeting because he is a recognized expert in minimally invasive bunion surgery. Other orthopedic surgeons from around the world were in attendance to hear Dr. Neufeld discuss his innovative new minimally invasive bunion procedure.
Dr. Steven Neufeld, a board-certified foot and ankle orthopaedic surgeon, is among the first in the area to offer a Minimally Invasive Bunion Correction.
