Ashley Holbrook, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant (PA) licensed to treat patients in both Virginia and Maryland. Ashley takes both new and established patients in the clinic for acute and/or chronic orthopedic conditions. She also serves as a first-assist for all three surgeons in the operating room.
Ashley has lived in the greater Northern Virginia area for over 15 years. She attended the University of Virginia in Charlottesville where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, she worked as a medical scribe at the Fauquier Hospital Emergency Department and Maybach Urgent Care. Subsequently she worked as lead medical assistant (MA) at the Dermatology Center of Loudoun and volunteered regularly at the Fauquier Free Clinic prior to attending PA school. Once she obtained over 3,000 hours of clinical experience, she attended the Physician Assistant Program at Shenandoah University where she earned her Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Ashley accepted her current position at The Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Center shortly after graduation. She is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS), American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), and Physician Assistant Orthopaedic Society (PAOS). Ashley also regularly participates in continuing medical education (CME) and has extensive clinical involvement with our team of athletic trainers (ATs) and medical assistants.
Outside of her work at The Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Center, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, Sandy and Bagel. She is saltwater aquarium enthusiast and hosts an extensive houseplant collection. Throughout the years she has enjoyed various sports to include cross country, track, soccer, and tennis. Now she focuses regularly on strength-training in the gym and optimizing habits of a healthy lifestyle.
