The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics is redefining the way musculoskeletal care is delivered across the region with locations throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
CJ has over six years of experience in the field of physical therapy. She grew up as a military brat, calling various cities and countries around the world “home”. Ultimately, she became a Virginia native, living in Virginia Beach for several years. CJ completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology in 2013 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016 from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.
Since graduating PT school, CJ has practiced in various outpatient settings. She worked for Sentara Healthcare in Norfolk, VA primarily working with orthopedic trauma and neurological conditions including spinal cord injuries. She later moved to Dallas, TX to work for Baylor Scott and White Institute for Rehabilitation where she treated general orthopedic injuries, workers’ compensation, amputees, pediatric injuries, and sport related injuries. She has a strong interest in sports medicine, return to sport rehabilitation, and injury prevention. CJ implements treatment through evidence-based research and individualized treatment programs for her patients.
Outside of the clinic, CJ enjoys photography, playing the guitar, hiking, and spending time with family in the kitchen. She also loves to run with her rescue dog, Zeke.
